Dr. Hyong receiving the 2004 Outstanding and Exemplary Performance Service Award from District 203
A major component of his program deals with finding excellence in children and showing them, along with their parents, how to harness and expand it. He tested his program in conjunction with School District 203 in Naperville, Illinois. The results were staggering. While average school children had the fun and excitement of participating in the martial arts aspect, Dr. Hyong worked with parents in how to plan, implement and create excellence in their children.
A TEACHER’S COMMENT ON IMPROVEMENT!
“I noticed something different about Drew. He developed
a sense of organization and commitment, which made
him remarkably different in his class performance.”
n Sue Doenges,Mill StreetTeacher
This comment from Mrs. Doenges was made after noticing how one of her students, Drew Heidenrich, made noticeable improvements in her classroom. This was only five weeks into the program, and now Drew’s doing great!

Chun, Crystal and Alex
“Since I had had experience with Tae Kwon Do in my childhood, I knew that it
was very good for personal development and discipline. What I didn’t realize
was that these sessions would be helpful to me as well. With the mission
statement and goals we set, Crystal was able to get things done without being reminded. I would recommend this program to anyone seeking marginal benefits.”
