"As a parent, it doesn't matter what our best intentions and efforts are. Your child's success must come from him. P. S. Systems teaches your child to learn how to help himself."

My son Gary, 6 1/2, was having a hard time in school. He was so reluctant to try new things, because he had no self-confidence.  He would become frustrated and act out his frustration by yelling and using disrespectful language.

A business associate of my husband's recommended P. S. Systems.  We decided to come in for a free consultation; what was there to lose?  My husband and I both liked the program and the teaching philosophy, and Gary liked the teachers.

In 8 weeks, Gary went from being frustrated, angry, and disrespectful to becoming confident, and less reluctant to try new things. He is so happy now. He feels so proud of his achievements and has let go of his anger. He now constantly tells me, my husband, and even his little sister how much he loves us. This is a BIG change!

Through P. S. Systems, I discovered that I needed to let Gary make his own mistakes (sometimes that is SO hard to do!!), and to point out that we learn from mistakes. Also, every week in class there is a different tenet of the week, like perseverance and courtesy, that we talk about with our kids. I always try to relate these tenets (especially perseverance!) to his everyday experiences.

If you're a parent with an angry, frustrated child? Here's my advice: Don't give up! Listen to what your child is trying to tell you. Here is the most important thing I've learned: as a parent, it doesn't matter what our best intentions and effortare. Your child's success must come from him. P. S. Systems teaches your child to learn how to help himself. This academy has taught Gary that he is a competent person. He now knows that practice and dedication are the keys to success, and it's okay to make mistakes along the way.
