I was wrong. I miss interpreted God’s word.
I CAN have confidence in myself, because God made me with the ability to do well in life.
He created me to succeed. I CAN DO ALL THINGS IN CHRIST.
Why I Joined TKD
For me that question isn’t the best one for me to answer. At the time, I was just joining because I’ve always wanted to take a martial arts course but never did when I was younger.
If you want to get some more REAL and deep answers then let me start this paper over.
Why Do You Want to Continue TKD?
After a few of the classes I attended through the park district, I began to realize why I really wanted to be here. As with the name, the practice of this donjon is to help to give a person a sense of confidence, which is the power required to accomplish just about everything in life. Coming into this class, my level of self confidence was pretty much zero. I had gotten so used to seeing everyone as better than me, so I guess I must have grown content with that. Being second is all I’ve ever known. I used to think that I could do nothing without god’s help. When I say that I mean that I was nothing and I have little to no power to accomplish things. That was one of the subconscious reasons that kept me feeling worthless. One day after one of Grand Master Hyong’s after-class talks I began to realize something: I was wrong. I miss interpreted God’s word. I CAN have confidence in myself, because God made me with the ability to do well in life. He created me to succeed. I CAN DO ALL THINGS IN CHRIST.
So far this class appears to be a good source for the skills I lack…including physical strength (herp-derp).
The reason why I want to continue this class is so that I can learn how to succeed simply because I want to. In my music. In my school. In my career. In my life.
I know I can.
